Biodiversity of weevils of selected areas

The study of weevils biodiversity is a important part in my research.

Check-list of Curculionoidea in the Czech Republic

(in cooperation with Stanislav Benedikt, Roman Borovec, Jiří Krátký, Karel Schön, Robert Stejskal, Miloš Trýzna)

The annotated checklist summarizes the present knowledge on the distribution of the superfamily Curculionoidea except for Scolytinae and Platypodinae in the Czech Republic – divided into the historical lands Bohemia and Moravia, and Slovakia. It evaluates the present as well as historical occurrence of each species on these territories. In addition, bioindicator status and several other characteristics (endemicity, allochthonous species, new records for the territory) will be given.
